Plans for adaptive reuse of the Walker Building include a trendy first floor retail use. Floors two, three, and four will be transformed into luxury Manhattan-style loft condominiums.

Additionally, seven spectacular penthouse units are planned for the rooftop area. The basement will be used for tenant parking, providing 67 spaces with a ramp entrance off of Fourth Street.

The building will be equipped with modern fire and life safety systems and the building has completed its earthquake retrofit upgrade.

It is intended that the Walker Building be completely restored to its period Art Deco style, which will add an upscale ambience to the North Pine Avenue District.
