The 46-unit residential element of the historic Walker Building will be an extravagant departure, unlike anything else within the City of Long Beach. The lofts on floors two through four will be immaculately restored to their original Art Deco style and feature 14-foot ceilings. A replicated grand entry canopy located on 4th Street will serve as the main entrance area for the loft residences. The original entry canopy was removed sometime during the 1970’s. This restored entry will lead into a beautiful large lobby area where many of the old historic elements of the building will be displayed. This entry way will serve as the access way to two large modernized elevators serving the basement parking level to the penthouse level. All units will have video access entry systems for guests and remote transmitters for the garage entrance.
